Advertising to the laboratory industry can be very expensive and unproductive! There are a few companies that generate good response rates and enquiries, but this is as dependent on your campaign as the quality of their distribution. Certainly paper advertising can create rewards, reinforce brands, provide an alternative to the increasingly overcrowded online media. It does however need something special to make it work. This is dependent on product, market, campaign, timing and quality of distribution

This depends on your market focus and your objective. There are a few "broadsheets" and a lot more niche associations and user groups. There is also direct mail, "stuffers" and "product bundles". We cannot make judgments on this without knowing more, but the traditional route may prove to be a helpful supporting role to a broader marketing strategy.
